A QR code at a live event, and seconds later a stranger is entered to win a custom motorcycle.
Progressive teamed up with their agency partner on a national motorcycle sweepstakes, and brought Southern Made in to build the sweepstakes microsite and run the promotion end to end. The result is rideintoadventure.com, a registration site that turns event foot traffic into verified entries for a custom motorcycle grand prize. It opened June 1, 2026 and runs through the end of the year.
THE CHALLENGE: Live events give you a narrow window. Someone walks up to the Progressive booth, sees the bike, and you have a few seconds to move them from a poster to a finished entry on their own phone before they wander off. If that flow has any friction, the entry never happens.
A prize promotion also carries weight the user never sees. Every registration has to hold up legally, which means the rules, the registration and bonding, and the winner process all have to be airtight, not just the front end. The build and the back office had to be one job, not two.
BUILDING THE SWEEPSTAKES MICROSITE
Southern Made designed and built the sweepstakes microsite from scratch, tuned for a phone held one-handed at a crowded event. Scan the QR code, land on the page, register, done.
Behind that simple moment, Southern Made ran the whole promotion. We drafted the official rules, handled registration and bonding, and own winner selection, outreach, and validation through to reporting. Because the sweeps runs for months across multiple Progressive events, the site and the administration were built to carry a steady stream of entries the whole way, not just survive a launch weekend.
Working alongside our client, we stayed the technical and operational partner on execution, so the agency could focus on the brand moment while the machinery ran underneath.
