Project Manager Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of over 50 projects annually. Your expertise in project management, leadership, and technical understanding will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and collaborate closely with our sales, technical, and operations teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
What Does a Project Manager Do?
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet client expectations, budget constraints, and timeline requirements.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on project matters, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical leads, developers, and other project managers to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and projects are set up for success.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Write User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, Create Wireframes: Develop comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
- Oversee Design and Technical Development Resources: Manage and coordinate the efforts of design and technical development teams to ensure alignment with project scope and timelines.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Proven experience as a project manager in a digital agency, software development firm, or related field, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of digital project lifecycles, from scoping and design to development and deployment.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Ability to manage client relationships effectively, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
