Dollar Shave Club Best Razor Ever Experience

When Dollar Shave Club hit the road with its Best Razor Ever college tour, they needed more than a great activation – they needed a digital backbone to power it. Southern Made built the Shave Club Tour Microsite, a custom web platform designed to register players, track scores, and fuel competition across a 10-city campus tour celebrating Dollar Shave Club’s bold new lineup of collegiate-branded razors.

Using QR codes, students could quickly register with their name, email, and custom gamertag, then jump into a series of high-energy games, from cornhole to reaction challenges, to earn points and climb the leaderboard. Brand Ambassadors used a custom iPad admin manage users and games in real time, generating a composite score for each participant. Every stop featured a city-specific leaderboard.

The result: a seamless tech ecosystem that turned a physical tour into a fully integrated digital competition, connecting thousands of students nationwide to the Dollar Shave Club brand and proving once again that a great shave starts with great tech.
