What an amazing campaign! Lionsgate wanted to promote the launch of the new Power Rangers movie and simultaneously publish a world class message. “TOGETHER WE ARE MORE – The world is better and brighter with color. Help us light up the world by tweeting your favorite hashtag for an exclusive Ranger Twitter emoji! For every hashtag, we’ll donate to The Thirst Project to help end the global water crisis. Watch the map – Every lightning bolt is a new tweet!”
Southern Made worked with Lionsgate and Twitter to create custom emojis for each color Power Ranger and a real time heatmap of where the Power Ranger hashtags were being tweeted from. The end result was a visually powerful map of people’s favorite color Power Ranger. And they donated to the Thirst Project with each tweet as well.
