Role Summary

As a Sales Executive/Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our agency’s growth by generating leads, prospecting new business opportunities, and developing digital concepts that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a knack for networking, negotiation, and effectively communicating our value proposition. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to close deals, meet sales targets, and ensure a seamless transition of clients to our project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Utilize professional networking and cold outreach techniques to generate new leads and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prospecting: Actively prospect and build new business by engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and positioning our agency as the solution to their digital challenges.
  • Digital Concepts Development: Work collaboratively with the technical and project management teams to develop compelling digital concepts and proposals that meet client objectives.
  • Client Transition: Ensure a seamless handoff of new clients to the project management teams, facilitating a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
  • Negotiation and Pricing: Participate in negotiation meetings, contribute to pricing strategy discussions, and assist in the contracting process to close deals effectively.
  • Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies that align with the agency’s goals and market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within a digital agency, software development firm, or related industry.
  • Strong networking skills and a proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
  • Ability to understand and develop digital concepts and ideas that meet client needs.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Familiarity with digital project lifecycles and the ability to work closely with technical and project management teams.
  • Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the agency’s growth.
